Why do we like listening to music?

Do we listen to music differently in different stages of our lives?  Do we find some songs more gratifying than others in different times in our lives? Why do some songs make us feel good inside and others are just... just alright. Is it the wave frequency or is it that we relate to the lyrics? I, personally, know that I am not drawn to the words, sure it's great when the songs connect to your feelings and thoughts, but that is not my top requirement when choosing which songs I like or I should say which songs pull me in. I don't feel I choose them. They automatically get replayed and eventually given the title (at least in my head if I don't share them with anyone) that this song is goood.  My taste of music is different than what most people around me like. It is a personal thing. A Blast from the Nineties - 90ies Toys, Games & Gadgets

I'm not sure if it's me getting older or if life is just changing quickly (maybe it's both) but taking a trip down to memory lane to remember some toys, shows, food, and anything we interacted with in the nineties feels good. So for that reason I'm going to write a series of posts covering a few things. This one will be about things we played with and used. Take a look and I'm sure you will be sharing my feelings of saying "aaaw" and "I remember that" to a few items and then perhaps start thinking of how things have changed so much and whether or not it's a good or bad thing. Just think, how was your life before your first smart phone? That alone, I think, was a big step in how our lives changed. So here you go, I'll start out with a mobile phone. Hotel Design in the Middle East: Jordan, Kuwait and Lebanon

This is post #2 which is a continuation of my previous post: "Top Hotel Design in the Middle East: Bahrain and Egypt"  Click here to read it and which will continue with more posts in the future. Today's countries of focus are  Jordan, Kuwait and Lebanon . Do remember that this list is based on my opinion by looking at hotels online and reading about them. I looked for excellence on the feel of the place --where I think the architect and interior designer did a magnificent job together. Evason Ma'in Hot Springs & Six Senses Spa - Ma'in, Jordan It's nice to see a very nice hotel at a very nice place. For those who do not know, Ma'in is a hot spring and waterfall that many people go to for thermal treatments and a relaxing hot soak. That's why this hotel and its unique design catched my eye. It has been built to make use of its surrounding, keeping the mood alive. Water and natural rock are important elements here of design and they look a...
