Why do we like listening to music?

Do we listen to music differently in different stages of our lives?  Do we find some songs more gratifying than others in different times in our lives? Why do some songs make us feel good inside and others are just... just alright. Is it the wave frequency or is it that we relate to the lyrics? I, personally, know that I am not drawn to the words, sure it's great when the songs connect to your feelings and thoughts, but that is not my top requirement when choosing which songs I like or I should say which songs pull me in. I don't feel I choose them. They automatically get replayed and eventually given the title (at least in my head if I don't share them with anyone) that this song is goood.  My taste of music is different than what most people around me like. It is a personal thing. Architecturally Beautiful Mosques (Masjids) Around the World

I did a little search and found myself a couple of masjids around the world that have fascinating architecture. So here are a couple for you...

The Great Mosque of Cordoba - Spain
I was first introduced to this mosque in an Islamic architecture course during college and from that day it got stuck in my head as a historic place with amazing architecture, even though I learned about a looot of famous mosques during the course it still stood out. That's why I am placing it first cause I just love it and have always wanted to visit it, so if I ever go to Spain I'm going to make sure to stop by this historic work of art.

To the people of al-Andalus “the beauty of the mosque was so dazzling that it defied any description."

This mosque though is no longer a mosque but instead a church (since 1236) but because it is so beautiful there are lots of Islamic aspects to it that were not touched nor removed during its transformation. Some amazing architectural aspects to it include its columns which total 856, double arch columns that allowed the ceiling to be heightened, the continuous interior feel, and its three domes (I remember there being three, although the net only talks about 2).

Building began in 784

Another perspective but in 1850
